  • What is Bookshare? How does it work?

  • What is a qualifying print disability?

    Blindness or other severe visual impairments that prevent the reading of ordinary newspaper print, even when wearing glasses or contact lenses.

    Learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, that interfere with the ability to read print material.

    Mobility limitations that interfere with holding a book, or with turning the pages.

  • How much does it cost to become a member?

    If you have a qualifying print disability you can sign up for a Bookshare membership for just Rs.400 annual fee. With this membership you can get access to over 5000 books.

  • How do I sign up?

    Obtaining a Bookshare India membership involves three simple steps:
