Improved Features for Volunteers
The new website makes it even easier for Volunteers to submit and proofread books:
- Your book history displays all the books you have downloaded (see Book History).
- Improved Volunteer check out screen makes it easier to find books by date, by submitter, etc.
- Quality analysis for scanned books provides a spell checker report, detected page breaks and detected page numbers.
- Downloading the book you want to work on can now be done directly from the book information page.
- Submitting scans and checking out books to proofread is now easier with quick links in the taskbar at the top of the page. Just log in and the Volunteer links will appear.
- ISBN look-up for book metadata eliminates manual entry of book information. Just type in the ISBN and edit the information imported from the Bowker database under license (see book descriptions).
