- Synopsis
- Ezra's Walk is an excellent story with a Christian theme in which good triumphs over evil, the real kind of evil that lurks in human hearts, and comes to action in the works of the violent criminal. Our author is only in his mid-thirties, and yet has spent over half of his life in jail, having been incarcerated at the age of sixteen. He has literally grown up among hardened criminals. And yet, strength has replaced hardness, and the criminality seems to be gone. He is spending life in prison as he writes this first novel.

The book follows the life of Ezra, a convicted murdered, after he is let out of prison. The author, Blair Greiman, is in prison for life for the rape and attempted murder of a young girl. He committed the crime when he was 15 years old. While not an autobiography, the main character in the book has many similarities to Blair. Throughout the book, he probes the motives and thoughts of people who commit haneous crimes. While not justifying any actions, he lets the reader understand these people.
