- Synopsis
- Life in the forest is changing for Peter Little Bear and the Washucke clan. Settlers from across the Great Water are moving into the area, including a boy, Eben, with hair the color of corn silk. Peter Little Bear finds he has much in common with Eben, in spite of their different cultures. The boys form a deep friendship, but as their bond grows, so does the tension between Indian tribes and the settlers. Finally, on a hot July day in 1690, a battle breaks out and the boys' friendship is put to a frightening test. Based on real events, locations, and artifacts, The Story of Peter Little Bear is a tale of adventure and friendship in seventeenth century New England.
