- Synopsis
- ‘Partition was a double-tragedy for the sindhi Hindus. Unlike Punjab and Bengal, which were divide on 14/15 August 1947, sindh was not. As a Consequence, we had no land of our own or, rather, the whole of divide India became our land. When I look back, I find it amazing that the Sindhi Hindu community has survived, and survived well. Like the Phoenix from the ashes, it has risen from being down and out, to a people who have accomplished a and out, to a people who have accomplished a lot in a lot many fields’.
