- Synopsis
- Transported to a college campus in the South in 1931, Kenneth and Aleesa meet the young Langston Hughes. Langston Hughes (1902-1967) was an African American poet. He was also a novelist, playwright, short story writer, and columnist. He was one of the earliest innovators of the new literary art form jazz poetry. Hughes is best-known for his work during the Harlem Renaissance.
