- Synopsis
- In nomine Patris by Alexander Copperwhite An envoy of the Holy Inquisition investigates in a monastery Winter of 1487 d. C. In a monastery, in the Pyrenees, a monk witnesses a miracle ... or an act of the devil. A sow stands, walks towards him and, after much suffering, gives birth to a human baby. After giving birth, it falls into the mud and disappears without a trace. The event comes to the church’s attention and the Holy Inquisition sends Lucius, one of its members, to investigate the event. What does the baby look like? Is it the work of the Devil or God? Why does the guardian of the newborn consult the Necronomicon? The mysteries of faith drown reason and frighten the man.
