- Synopsis
- This is the workbook to accompany a ten-part "process" on nonviolence, designed by the Pace e Bene Nonviolence Service. The book can be used by both group leaders and participants. The program comes from a Christian framework, but emphasizes respect for all people and religions. Each session includes a series of exercises and topics for discussion designed to deepen participants' thinking about the violence in the world - both global and personal - and nonviolent alternatives. Suplemental readings include work by Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., St. Francis of Assissi, and the feminist antinuclear activist Shelley Douglas, among others.
