Darkness, Tell Us--without a doubt the book that tempts our curiosity of the unknown. And what better way to tease our fears than using the popular Ouija board. Oddly enough, the book does not strictly adhere to the traditional confines of modern horror storytelling. Yes, the supernatural is given air time, but the horror stems more from the practical possibilities that make the terror a lot more realistic. There could be nothing more unsettling than trudging through a forgotten road into the forest and find a black bus with red lit windows. Fans of Stephen King will appreciate the chills minus the wordy backdrop. A must read for anyone on a camping trip.
