- Synopsis
-
Farmworkers play an important role in the way we live. Without their hard work, we would not see such a variety of fresh produce at our local grocery stores.
Even though these men and women perform backbreaking labor to provide millions of people with food, their employers have treated them very poorly throughout history.
In the 1960s, one farmworker decided to do something about this unfair treatment. His name was Cesar Chavez.
