- Synopsis
- Published to coincide with the eponymous National Geographic Films/LBS production feature film, this memoir recounts the story of John Bul Dau, one of the "Lost Boys" of Sudan. The memoir describes how civil war forced him out of his village, leading to an odyssey through Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, and the United States, where he eventually settled, began raising a family, and began two foundations geared towards helping Sudanese children impacted by war.
