- Synopsis
- There's no doubt about it. Elizabeth is definitely NOT a little saint. Or a little lady. Or a sweet angel (except maybe when she is sleeping). But, doing things like taking her mother's sharp scissors to cut the sleeves of her red party dress (to make the sleeves shorter), spitting into her mother's ear instead of kissing her good night, and calling her Aunt Louise's new casserole recipe "disgusting!" (in front of her aunt!) mean that Elizabeth is often in big trouble. Enter Grandma Sophia, who recognizes exactly what's wrong: Elizabeth has a troublesome strong spirit that needs Elizabeth's own help in order to become a kind, respectful and generous spirit. The solution--Elizabeth uses her own creative spirit in ways that make Elizabeth proud to be--just Elizabeth.
