A quick read through the journey of a successful educational publisher who was a struggling reader until the 9th grade. He was seen as a behavior problem until an inspirational teacher took notice of his unique learning abilities. Don Johhston dedicated his life and his career to supporting struggling students. This book is written on a 3rd grade reading level. Students will relate to Don's experience and teachers will be reminded of the disguised behavior problems and signs kids often use to mask their learning difficulties. It's a poignant book that will make you laugh, cry and think differently. Don has helped thousands of kids become successful readers, writers and thinkers! He's a good guy!
