Synopsis
Cherry's first aid center is adjacent to the antiques department of a large department store, where a series of thefts have been blamed on a young, recently widowed employee, but Cherry helps uncover the true culprit.

Proofreader's note 1: There is a troubling error in the print copy that was preserved due to copyright law at the bottom of page 165 where a portion of copy from the Foreword appears mid-sentence near the beginning of a paragraph. Proofreader note 2: This is #18 in the original series, but is listed as #11 in some lists as only the Helen Wells titles were reprinted and not the seven Julie Tatham volumes in the middle of the series.
