- Synopsis
- Alternate realities, alternate mathematics, and rock and roll are mixed to satirize contemporary US politics in this book. Bela Kis and Paul Bridge are both trying to prove the same mathematical theorem as part of their PhD dissertations. They are also rivals for the love of Alma, a rhetorics major and video blogger, and Cammy, bass player for a local band. Somehow, this simple beginning leads to both a major political conspiracy and trips through a universe where it is possible swim from one idylic tropical paradise world to another. Yes, there are sex, drugs and rock and roll in this book as well as some violence, all of which are mostly indirectly described, so while some parents might be concerned about young teen-agers reading this book, it is not adult only.
