- Synopsis
- No matter what anyone said, Sheila was not going to ride a horse. It was bad enough just having to walk around with a metal brace on her crippled leg. She wasn’t going to have everyone staring at her and laughing when she tried to get up on a horse. That was how Sheila felt until she met Rogue. Rogue didn’t want people around him either. He had been a picador’s horse in the Mexican bull rings and he had the scars to prove it. Slowly the crippled girl and the abused horse learn to trust and then to love each other. Rogue learns that not every human will hurt him, and Sheila learns to forget her fears and help herself to overcome her handicap.
