Synopsis: Eleven-year-old Lucky adores Miles--a cookie fiend, genius, and the closest she's got to a little brother. But when Miles's mother returns to Hard Pan, Lucky finds herself with a tricky, challenging moral dilemma and no idea what to do about it.
