I thoroughly enjoyed Stealaway. Yes I admit it. I am an adult. <p> Well developed characters for such a short book. The author's love of animals, particularly horses, adds warmth to a story of a child who has moved from place to place. I moved a lot as a child. Moving can be difficult as well as exciting. Both the fun and difficulty of moving are here along with fantasy and a dash of history.
