Synopsis: This wonderfully-written and compelling book looks at the life of a single woman's seasons, from the raging storms of her life's winters to the sun-drenched days of her summers and how she endures it all with God's love. After graduating from college, Jacetta Winters made the mistake of falling in love with Maxie Jackson, an older married man. But when he discovers that she's pregnant with his child, he promptly dumps her, leaving her alone to raise their child and abandoned by her family and church. When Jaci least expects it, she stumbles upon J.P. Gilmore, a man she has prayed for and who loves God as well as loving her.
