- Alison saw it outside her hotel window. The light was as bright as the sun--so bright that it blinded her for a moment, and then it was gone. She was in a hotel in Hunter's Gulch, New Mexico, with her brother Eric. They had planned to meet a friend and camp out in the desert for a few days' vacation. But strange things began to happen.
