- Synopsis
- Each year, every year, on the anniversary of the attacks, Jim Whitaker and his film crew interviewed eight people who were directly affected by the events of 9/11. They used five of these subjects and their words as the basis for the documentary Rebirth, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011. Based on the film, the book Project Rebirth allows the powerful rediscovery stories of all these individuals - both those featured in the film and those whose stories did not make it onto celluloid - to be shared with the world.
