- Synopsis
- Proposes a narrative approach that builds a bridge between family therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and addictions counseling. Demonstrates innovative ways to help clients form new understandings of the events of their lives, explore their relationships to drugs and alcohol, and develop new stories to nourish their recovery. Central to this approach is the use of letter writing, personal accounts, and other creative tasks. Diamond has been teaching and training in the fields of addiction and psychotherapy for the past 15 years. He is currently in private practice. Annotation c.
