- Synopsis
- In The Lion's Share, Rochelle Ratner tells the story of Jana Replansky's late-blooming love, set against the obstacles of her demanding career and her recovery from childhood sexual abuse. Obsessed with her work as a painter and gallery curator in New York's SoHo art scene, Jana meets Ed, a soft-hearted arts funder, and is ready to embark on a relationship after 34 years of celibacy. She is faced with juggling a budding relationship with her studio painting, and the biggest exhibit in her tenure as the curator of a small art gallery.
