Synopsis: Women in Transition is a compilation of seed material for women wishing to participate in their own evolution and self-exploration through community and sisterhood as embodied by women’s wisdom circles. Beginning with highlights on how to organize and initiate a circle, the book offers 52 weeks of topics for inquiry, meditations, and inspirational words to close the circle meeting. Focusing on issues currently facing the majority of women today, the mission of the book is to promote the idea of women speaking, sharing and working with other women to effect critical change in our culture, beginning with self-change - a phenomenon Jean Shinoda Bolen calls “a revolutionary-evolutionary movement that is hidden in plain sight.”
