Synopsis: The Plant-based and Vegan Handbook is the first of its kind to bring together interlocking – and sometimes conflicting – perspectives focused on veganism and plant-based living. As an interdisciplinary volume the noted contributors are from the fields of medicine, psychiatry, environmental studies, sociology, marine ecology, philosophy, agriculture, psychology, animal studies, religion, economics, literature, business, and law.
