This book describes the lives of two men who lived over a hundred years apart and how the Russian leaders of each time era played a part in their life. It gives detailed description of events that played into each of the leading characters. The vivid descriptions of the daily life in Russia is treated with respect and factually given. The book is full of suspense, has characters you love and hate, and has historical value, as the main characters play important roles in the current events of their day. If you have ever visited Russia, you will enjoy reading this book. If you haven't visited, you may want to after reading the book.
