- Synopsis
- Bossy Marcie takes tap dance lessons and is teaching Ernie, William and Jason to dance with her for parent's night at school. The other children want to try Marcie's shiny tap shoes but she won't let them and she hides her shoes every day after practice. Tap dancing is hard for William and Ernie to learn but their shy friend, Jason, learns fast and loves tap dancing. One day Marcie can't find her shoes and she says Jason stole them. Eagle Eye Ernie goes to work to prove Jason didn't steal the shoes. This is a chapter book for readers in the early grades. Pictures are described.
