Veils of Separation – Finding the Face of Oneness
by Rabia ErdumanRabia Erduman's Veils of Separation is a journey through the landscapes of the inner life. She calls it a fairy tale, though it seems to me not so much a fairy tale as an allegory. The main character, Babla, is on a tantric journey to an integrated self. By the end of the book, all the disparate fragments of the self have merged into a sense of spiritual wholeness. The main Truth of this book is that there is no separation, only Oneness. When we go beyond the physical appearance of the body into subtler energies inside, we find that everyone is made of the same substance. This is called radiance. By contrast, separation is created out of fear, shame, anger, and self-negating thought patterns we believe to be true. These, then, form the "veils" that hide our Essence. When two people meet, their veils often interact, rather than their true beings. Each of us, depending on our upbringing, has a different set of veils. This story has many characters to show the multitude of ways a person might be split. Because everyone is unique, there are also countless ways to dissolve the veils of separation and come home. Approach this book as a series of doorways to lasting transformation.

As a child, Max lives in a world of colors and numbers, not speaking until the age of six. As an adult, max ventures on a journey of destiny to discover the secret behind the ancient Mayan prophecy about the "end of time," foretold to occur on December 21, 2012. At fifteen years old, Max has a near-death experience during which he has a vision that reveals the names of the twelve unique individuals. While Max cannot discern the significance of the twelve names he is unable to shake the sense that they have deep meaning. After completing his schooling at Harvard and Yale, eight years pass before Max meets the first of The Twelve. With this first meeting, Max's voyage of discovery begins, as he strives to uncover the identities and roles of the twelve individuals he will meet during his journey toward the truth. Only The Twelve can provide the answers, as the fate of all humanity rests in the balance.
The Power of Twelve: A Novel
by William GladstoneThe year 2012 didn't mark the end of civilization as many had mistakenly predicted. Rather, it marked a turning point in human consciousness, a shift toward a more humanistic, less violent existence. But not if Arnold Wheeler can help it. Arnold is The Grand Light and Keeper of the Code of the Illuminati, which quietly and covertly control every major development on Earth. He is quite aware of the universal shift in consciousness predicted by the Mayans long ago. With this shift, humanity has the opportunity, for the first time, to reach its full potential. Except the Illuminati have other plans. William Gladstone, author of the bestselling The Twelve, takes readers on a roller coaster adventure that features George W. Bush, alternate earths, and the real meaning of the upcoming 26,000-year Mayan cycle. Part science-fiction, part philosophical exploration, The Power of Twelve will keep readers turning the pages, discovering the very nature of existence. The problems keep mounting. The clock keeps ticking. And by the end, readers will be wondering what is real, what is not, and how they can prepare their own lives for a world that is so rapidly changing.

Sophie might discover her destiny, and maybe even in time to save them all.

Dreamwielder (The Dreamwielder Chronicles #1)
by Garrett Calcaterra&“Blends the high adventure and courtly intrigue of the classic epic fantasy with a fresh, new magic born of the infinite and dangerous power of dreams&” (Misty Massey, author of Mad Kestrel). In a world shrouded by soot and smoke, young Makarria has literally been forbidden to dream . . . Legend has foretold the demise of Emperor Thedric Guderian at the hands of a sorceress with royal blood, and the emperor has made it his legacy to stamp out all magic from the Sargothian Empire in favor of primitive coal-fired smelters and steam-powered machines. When Guderian&’s minions discover a Dreamwielder on a seaside farmstead, a chain of events forces Guderian&’s new threat—the young Makarria—to flee from her home and embark upon an epic journey where her path intertwines with that of Princess Taera, her headstrong brother, Prince Caile, and the northman Siegbjorn, who captains a night-flying airship. Dogging their every step is the part-wolf, part-raven sorcerer, Wulfram, and Emperor Guderian, himself, a man who has the ability to stint magic and a vision to create a world where the laws of nature are beholden to men and machines. Only by learning to control the power she wields can Makarria save her newfound companions and stop the emperor from irreversibly exterminating both the magic in humans and their bond with nature. &“I enjoyed this book immensely. It&’s fast-paced, colorful, and richly detailed.&” —James P. Blaylock, World Fantasy Award winner

You have to give it a read to properly understand why . . . You will not be disappointed, it is an excellent read!” —Only the Indies “In many ways, Riddle in Stone harkens back to the early days of modern fantasy where the hero is really an everyman confronted with an impossible task and, despite his own innocence, insecurities, and sense of inadequacy, accomplishes that which the great heroes of the time could not. Yet, there are enough differences to give it a fresh feel.” —Maxine McLister
