Live Free: Exceed Your Highest Expectations
by DeVon FranklinThe bestselling author returns with his biggest book yet in which he teaches us the secret to living a happier life: get rid of as many expectations as possible—of ourselves, our future, our relationships, our career and our family.Expectations are the secret software, running on the hardware of our minds, controlling our emotions, decisions, and actions. How? Think about your life. How much of the sadness you feel derives from what you think should have happened—than with what actually happened?Think about your career. How much of the discontent you feel comes from your belief about where you’d be at this point—than with the progress you’ve actually made?Think about your relationships. How much of your dissatisfaction with friends, family, significant others, or spouses has to do with your unspoken presumptions—than with the people themselves?Having so many expectations is distorting your perspective, decreasing your happiness and disrupting your joy. You can live a life of true freedom, greater peace and less stress: release as many expectations as possible. This, DeVon Franklin argues, is the secret to a better life now.In a culture obsessed with more, Live Free is a bold counterintuitive book that can start a cultural revolution, Franklin contends. Everyone struggles with unnecessary expectations. But once you learn to let go of them, you can set the stage for the life you’ve always wanted.

Live, Laugh, Love, Always, Lydia
by Lydia BrightHello beauts, I am so beyond excited to finally share with you my big secret. I HAVE A BOOK COMING OUT!This book is about my journey from start to finish, right up to what I'm looking for in the future. What an adventure it has been to write! I have laughed, cried, cringed and beamed with pride recounting all the crazy stories I have put into it. The 'Love' chapter needed to be completely rewritten half way through which was tough ... but it worked a bit like therapy and has taught me so much about myself.I pinch myself all the time over how fortunate I have been. Not only was I born into the most magical family and given the most unique childhood - being part of a foster family full of love - but six years ago I landed a place on a little BAFTA award-winning show called TOWIE (I know, SIX years - crazy right?). Through it I have grown from a quiet, vulnerable teenager, who was honestly a bit lost in life, into an entrepreneur, fundraiser and worldwide adventurer all before my 22nd birthday.Alongside my story, I've shared everything I now know that I wish I had back then. From dating rules, to make-up routines and the amazing work-out that got me bikini-ready for my TOWIE return in 2014. I've even packed it full of my favourite inspirational quotes, recipes, and photos (the good, the bad and the ugly!). So fingers and toes crossed that you like it ;)Live, Laugh, Love,Always Lydia Written and Read by Lydia Bright(P) 2017 Orion Publishing Group

Live Like You Mean It
by Eric DelveThis energetic and engaging call to live life to the full offers you the chance to rethink what matters to you and why, and to do something about it. Too often we drift through life, going with the flow or being tossed by currents beyond our control, and failing to realise that if we would only fight for the life God meant us for life would be so much more fulfilling. Eric Delve, the well-known evangelist and organiser of the Detling Festival, here sets out a strong argument for intentional living, the need to engage positively with the choices that face us and the rewards it will bring if we do so. Along the way he challenges us to face up to who we really are, jettisoning pretence or fantasy, and to accept our humanity in its weakness and its high potential. Then he urges us to understand what God's purpose is for us and to let him guide us into the full life he wants for us - including standing firm through difficult times. Finally he issues a challenge to us all, to escape from the modern curse of individualism and accept the need - and wonderful opportunity - to pass on all we've learnt in life to colleagues, friends and families - because they're worth it, too.
