Diese Parameterermittlung wird ausgeführt für Schaltdiode, Kapazitätsdiode, npn-Bipolartransistor, N-Kanal-Sperrschicht-Feldeffekttransistor, CMOS-Array-Transistoren, Operationsverstärker und Optokoppler. In einem neuen Abschnitt werden Streuparameter-Analysen zum bipolaren HF-Transistor vorgenommen. Behandelt wird ferner die Ermittlung der Modellparameter von Sensoren zur Erfassung von Temperatur, Licht, Feuchte, Kraft, Schall, Gaskonzentration und pH-Wert.
