Bookshare, a federally-funded inclusive learning tool, has teamed up with the IRIS Center at Vanderbilt University to create a FREE digital professional development course for educators on how Accessible Educational Materials (AEM) are important for students who struggle with reading and how you can incorporate powerful reading tools like Bookshare into your classroom instruction.
This two-hour course, “Providing Accessible Education Materials with Bookshare,” can be completed at your own pace and includes multiple learning videos, resources, and assessments to help you understand how to provide accommodations to students who benefit from AEM. Plus, educators can get FREE Professional Development credits through the IRIS Center.
