Bookshare®'s University Partner Program increases the availability of accessible textbooks for U.S. postsecondary students with print disabilities. College and university partners upload books they have scanned for their students to the Bookshare site. This saves time and money for universities by reducing duplication of effort. As a Bookshare partner, universities can scan once and share with many qualified students.
Become a university partner
Follow these steps to share scanned books.
- Sign up to volunteer and let us know that you are interested in becoming a University Partner.
- Once you receive your volunteer login, you're set to submit a test book.
- When you receive your partnership confirmation, you’ll be able to upload books directly to Bookshare and begin sharing them immediately!
